SCOPE & DUTIES

The CRO Alliance / Account Manager will be responsible for managing strategic alliances with CROs and
other strategic vendors such as central safety and central ECG/EKG suppliers. Activities will include

Monitoring overall performance and managing business relationship
Reporting Global Head of Outsourcing and Outsourcing group on initiatives
Production of regular supplier performance / finance reports
Monitoring vendor KPIs and identifying process improvement initiatives
Analysing CRO survey data and making recommendations for workstreams
Leading assessment and re-assessment process for preferred / qualified providers
Providing leadership and guidance to junior members of staff
Leading cross functional global teams with internal and external representatives
Developing training materials and supporting the roll out of training programs
Representing Company  in governance oversight meetings
Establishing strong strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Supporting the resolution of cross unit project issues
Processing vendor specific contracts / work orders as appropriate
QC of project specific contracts
Negotiating MSA and discount schemes
REQUIREMENTS
BS + 5 years plus experience in clinical vendor management and clinical outsourcing /procurement
practices
Broad knowledge of global clinical trials and the suppliers providing services
Good general business awareness with a deep understanding of supplier risk assessments
Must be highly organized and detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple priority projects
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work across different functional areas and
multiple levels in global organizations
Good understanding and experience of working with different cultural groups
Excellent analytical and problem solving and financial skills
Strong presentation and project management capabilities
Strong negotiation / influencing skill
Good mentoring skills with experience of managing or guiding junior members of staff
Proficiency with standard MS Office and other IT packages
