Sales Trainer
1 Year Contract – NJ
Duties:
The trainer’s primary responsibility will be to lead and train all Phase I classes for new the metabolic and epilepsy sales team. This person will be responsible for the facilitation and presentation of training programs. This role will ensure proper transfer and translation of the marketing brand plans to the sales representatives and District Managers and make certain that all new have the knowledge and skills they need to do their jobs in a compliant manner to support strategic business goals. This includes creating the agenda, confirming speakers, maintain all training materials to ensure CRC approved, and work with the LMS (Learning management System) administrator to ensure information remains current and compliant, update classroom curriculum to remain current using all available types of communication and educational methods and tools. Assist the Manager of Training and Development in workshop creation and facilitation for POAs and/or virtual training
Primary job functions include:
• Facilitate Training
• Create agendas and manage class participation to ensure training is compliant
• Manage the (LMS) relationship for the needs of the sales team for metabolic and epilepsy
• Manage projects as assigned and the market place demands change.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Must have demonstrated facilitation and presentation expertise. Require a Four Year Degree. Must demonstrate the ability to work on teams. Has experience coaching and mentoring peers. Proficiency in Microsoft, Word, Power Point, Excel. The ability to quickly learn new process and product knowledge. Disease state knowledge in the metabolic and/or endocrinology and epilepsy areas are highly preferred.
Strong coaching skills, ability to communicate well and present to a group. Strong planning and organizational skills. Must be able to take direction well. Occasional OT may occur. Some domestic travel may be required.
